SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Precautions

As of 3/20/2020: In an effort to keep Schoodic Animal Hospital open, we are making a change to our scheduling policy. At this time, we are not scheduling new appointments for annual health exams, routine vaccinations, nail trims, or any non-essential services until further notice.

We would like to focus our attention on sick, injured, or surgical cases to limit our interaction with, and potential risk of exposure to COVID-19. We will remain open and available to dispense medications, preventatives, and food as a curb-side service (call ahead, pay over the phone, and we deliver to your car).

Please realize if any one of our staff becomes exposed, we will have to close. If you do not feel well, have someone else deliver your pet for their appointment.

If you have any questions, please call us.
Stay Safe Everyone.

As of 3/17/2020: To Our Clients: In light of concerns about the coronavirus pandemic, we are taking "social distancing" precautions to help prevent spread of the virus. We do have staff and clients in the at-risk age for the disease. We want to keep our clients and staff as safe and healthy as possible.

We will be open for our regular business hours unless events change yet again. In an effort to avoid numbers of people in the lobby, we are asking clients arriving for appointments to remain in your car and call us (207-422-9999) to let us know you have arrived. When the exam room is clean and ready, we will call you directly into the exam room. We appreciate your help in protecting yourself and others. If there is illness in your family, especially coronavirus exposure, please call to reschedule your appointment.

If you need prescriptions, preventives, or food please call ahead to let us know what you need. To minimize your wait, please pay ahead if possible. Also, you can call from your car when you arrive, and we can bring it out to you.

We are all working together to keep your pets and all of us safe.

 Thank you for your cooperation.
